Pressure Reducing Pilot (Normally Open Pilot)
The model 160 is a spring and diaphragm operated, normally open pilot. The inner valve is held open by the spring. When the control pressure below the diaphragm exceeds the force of the spring, the pilot valve closes. The model 160 is used as the standard pressure reducing pilot on all series 106 and 206 valves.
