Product Introduction
Singer Valve Inc. offers a wide range of automatic control valves to meet the needs of the Industrial, HVAC, Building Trades, Fire Protection, Irrigation and Water Utility markets. Most Singer Valves consist of a main valve and a pilot control system designed specifically to meet the requirements of the application. This catalog outlines only some of the many application solutions available. For further information about Singer Products please visit singervalve.com or contact us directly.
Main Valves:
Singer manufactures two distinct main body model series – “106 Series” Full Port and “206 Series” Reduced Port valves. The model 206 series valves are similar to the model 106 series except that the seat sizes are typically one standard pipe size smaller than the flange sizes (consult with factory on larger sizes). For example, a 6” (150mm) 206-PG valve has a 4” (100mm) seat diameter. The Model 206 is often a preferred selection when the flow ranges are suitable.

Singer Main Valves are available in three main models: PG, PT/ PTC, or PGM, each offers distinct operating efficiencies for varying applications (see Main Valve Section for details on each). Each is available in the 106 Series Full Port or 206 Series Reduced Port.
Smaller sized valves (106 up to 8” (200mm) and 206 up to 10” (250mm)) are flat diaphragm design (as shown in diagram referenced above). All larger sized valves are rolling diaphragm design as shown below. Singer converted from Double Rolling Diaphragm to the preferable Single Rolling Diaphragm design in 2003/2004. Most sizes are still available in Double Rolling Diaphragm design upon request. As well, most sizes are also available in Angle Pattern.

Further details on Main Valves can be found in the Main Valve section of this catalog. It is important to note that all data and dimensions are accurate at the time of printing but are subject to changes. For the latest data and dimensions please always refer to singervalve.com or contact the factory.
Singer Main Valve castings are based on ANSI Class 150 or 300 standards and drilled as per ANSI B16.42 or threaded NPT. Class 150 are machined flat faced. Class 300 are machined raised face. ANSI standard dimension are presented in this catalog in US Units (inches) and Metric Units. Also available are ANSI Flanges drilled to ISO 2531/BS4504 PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40 or threaded BSPT. ISO standard dimensions are presented in this catalog in Metric Units (mm). Australian Standard AS4087 machined to Class 16 or Class 35. Australian Standard AS2129 (Table A through Table K) consult factory for availability. Other International standards are also available, please consult the factory for details.
Singer Valve is proud to meet a wide range of regulatory standards to meet the requirements of your application. Please see page 8 for further details.
