Model 106 RPS Pressure Relief Valve
|
Shall open quickly to relieve excess system pressure to waste when the inlet pressure exceeds a pre-determined pilot setting. Shall close slowly to minimize surging. |
| |
Model 106 RPS Pressure Sustaining Valve
|
Shall ensure inlet pressure equals or exceeds a pre-determined (adjustable) pilot setting, maintaining a constant minimum supply pressure. |
| |
Model 106 RPS L&H Surge Anticipating Relief Valve
|
Automatically opens to relieve excess energy of a surge. Remains closed when the system pressure is within the normal operating range. Opens quickly on high or low pressure to anticipate the return of the surge wave. |
| |
Model 106 RPS-D Pressure Differential Sustaining Valve
|
Automatically opens when the pressure differential across the valve
exceeds the pilot setting. Modulates to limit the flow through the valve to maintain the desired pressure differential. |
| |
Model 106 RPS-RR Surge Anticipating Relief on Rise of Pressure Valve
|
Automatically opens to relieve excess energy of a surge. Remains closed when the system pressure is within the normal operating range. Opens quickly in response to an abnormal rate of rise in system pressure which is indicative of an approaching surge wave. |

106 -DL Dynamic Lifter - Sewage Pressure Relief Valve
|
The Singer model DL sewage pressure relief valve is a direct acting spring-loaded relief valve. The valve is adjusted to open when the pressure exceeds the set point (approximately 110% of the normal operating pressure). The valve closes drip tight when pressure falls below the set point. |

106-RPS-8700 UL & FM Labelled and Listed Pressure Relief Valve
|
The Singer model 106-RPS-8700 and A106-RPS-8700 pressure relief valves employ the basic Singer Model 106-PG or A106-PG main valve respectively. Relief valves (RPS) automatically relieve excess pressure in the fire protection system to discharge. RPS valves will also automatically modulate to relieve excess pump capacity during pump start up and shut down, allowing the pump to operate without causing surges. |
