Singer Valve Inc. Receives Business Excellence Award

Surrey, BC, November 18, 2011 – Singer Valve, a leading manufacturer of control valves was one of eight companies to win a Business Excellence Award by the Surrey Board of Trade.   Singer Valve Chairman, Mr. Brian Blann, received the Award on behalf of the company at a 400 person gala dinner, emceed by local TV personality, Pamela Martin on November 3rd.

The Award recognizes leadership, strategy development and planning, employee learning, process management, supplier and partner relationships and overall business performance.  The judges are comprised of a team of business leaders.  Andrew Taylor, President of Singer Valve, said, “We are very pleased to have received this recognition.  Singer Valve is a local success story that has continued to grow for 54 years because we have a commitment to innovation using premium materials to build quality products that outlast our competitors”  In an industry where replacement is a huge cost and cumbersome task, product life cycle is critical.
