Brian began his career as an Electrical Engineer after serving two years in the British Armed Forces. While working with a large international corporation in Hamilton, Ont., Brian was transferred to Vancouver, B.C. as a service engineer. Later, he worked as a Sales Engineer and Sales Manager. In the late 1970's, Brian joined Chutter Hydraulics as part owner. |
Kari is one of the longest serving members of the Singer Valve team. He’s been here since 1970. Kari’s specialty is solving unique, challenging and/or virtually impossible application issues. His claim to fame is the patented Singer Anti-Cavitation Trim, which he designed and developed. As general manager, Kari acts as in-house consultant and expert to our engineering department. He oversees production planning and the shop. And, he’s often involved directly with our clients, troubleshooting and problem-solving. Kari has a diploma from the B.C.
Andrew has been president of Singer Valve since 2009. His management experience is extensive. Andrew spent 15 years working for a plastics company in South Africa, serving in a variety of positions, including general manager and group quality assurance manager. The company was sold to Dow Chemicals in 1996. Among his positions in Canada, Andrew was president of Walker Bay Boats, a private yacht building company, and served as chief operating officer of Task Tools and Abrasives.
Brad joined Singer Valve in 2002. As vice-president of sales and marketing, Brad spends a lot of time travelling the globe, liaising with our sales representatives and educating others about our water management solutions. His work experience includes 15 years as a sales manager of irrigation products and as sales and marketing director for a waterworks and irrigation wholesaler. His education background includes marketing and sales management at the University of British Columbia and the Executive Management Program at Simon Fraser University. Brad is a Certified Irrigation Designer.
