Victor joined our Singer Valve team in 2006. His role as engineering manager is extensive, including designing, developing and testing new products, ensuring the integrity of all products shipped, and planning projects from conception to production. Victor studied mechanical engineering in his native country of Romania. He worked as a shop foreman and he ran a small factory before relocating to Canada in 2000. Before joining Singer Valve, he held positions as engineering assistant and as project manager.
Vicki has been our controller since 1992. She is a certified management accountant who received her designation in 1982. Her experience prior to Singer Valve was as accounting supervisor at Bison Transport in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Vicki has witnessed firsthand how we have grown, doubling the number of employees and increasing sales by a ratio of 6:1.
Scott began his career with the Singer Valve team as a customer service representative in 1997. A few years later, he also began overseeing Singer’s computer network. Today, he leads the customer service and technical support team and is our revered IT guy. Scott has a dual diploma in CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) and mechanical systems from the B.C. Institute of Technology.
David has been a member of the Singer Valve team since 2007. As operations manager of our manufacturing facility in Vancouver, Canada, he ensures the hectic workload in our machine shop, assembly line, heat fusion and shipping departments flows smoothly and efficiently. His labor tracking system and lean manufacturing principles are helping us to become more efficient while enhancing our emphasis on quality. David has more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing environments including aircraft, automotive, air compressors and the printing industry.
Clinton has been working with Singer packaged systems since he joined the company as a technologist in 2005. Today, he is the manager of our packaged systems division. Clint oversees every aspect of designing, assembling and installing packaged systems for our clients. Born and raised in the Vancouver area, he attended the B.C. Institute of Technology where he completed the Mechanical Engineering Technologies program.
