2SC-PCO: Duel Solenoid Control & Flowmeter

2SC-PCO is a dual-solenoid positioning control that's process-controller/SCADA compatible, providing precise remote electronic control of flow, pressure, or level; it can position the valve anywhere across its full stroke and requires minimal power in standby. For flow measurement/control, pair it with Singer's 2SC-MV electronic flow control & metering system (PLC-based, retrofit-friendly, ±3% accuracy) or use the SPI-MV insertion flow meter integrated into a 106-2SC-PCO pilot system for complete flow-based valve control.

Altitude Valve

An altitude valve automatically maintains a tank/tower/reservoir at a preset maximum water level—allowing normal forward flow to fill, then closing drip-tight at the set-point and reopening to refill after the level falls by an adjustable draw-down distance. Singer offers two configurations: A-Type 1/3 (two-way flow) and A-Type 2/4 (one-way flow), both designed to prevent overflow with exceptional repeatability and positive shut-off.

Anti-Cavitation

An anti-cavitation valve is a control valve fitted with anti-cavitation trim to handle high pressure-drop service while preventing cavitation damage. Singer's AC trim minimizes vibration and noise, controls continuous/variable flows, and maintains performance even at very low flows; each assembly is sized to the site's flow and pressure-drop requirements. Typical applications include distribution systems, high-rise buildings, reservoir control, and continuous pressure relief.

Bypass Pump Control

Bypass pump control valves protects the system from pump start/stop surge by opening at startup to discharge initial air/water to waste, then closing so there's no energy loss while the pump runs. It's installed in a tee between the pump discharge and the check valve, making it ideal for well applications that need smooth pump transitions.

Pressure Reducing Valves

Pressure Reducing (PR) valves maintain a precise downstream pressure set-point by sensing pressure at the valve outlet and modulating a pilot to hold it steady as upstream conditions change. Options include PR-R (adds sustaining to ensure a minimum upstream pressure while reducing downstream only when inlet exceeds set-point), PR-48 (adds a low-flow bypass for stable control down to zero flow; ideal for high-rise/space-restricted sites), and PR-C (pressure reducing plus check for drip-tight reverse-flow shutoff).
